THE COOLABAHS - Four Pubs and a Watertower Tour
Melbourne 4 piece The Coolabahs don't take life too seriously. They like to kick back, have a laugh, share a cheeky drink or left handed cigarette and play a unique brand of music called Verandah Punk.

About The Event
The Coolabahs have been hard at work at Def Wolf studios in 2023 and after working closely with owner and chief engineer Daniel Antix (also of Nerdlinger) have emerged with their first offering from their debut album due later this year. The single, titled "Four Pubs and a Watertower" is an anthem to sing along to and it's upbeat nature drives home the message that if the city life is getting you down, a break in the country can be the best thing for it.
The song is loosely based on guitarist/vocalist Gaz Baker's upbringing in the small town of Rochester, roughly 200km north of Melbourne. Rochester recently experienced it's worst flood event on record and all bandcamp sales of the single will go towards flood relief for the community.
To celebrate the release of the single, The Coolabahs are embarking on an East Coast tour of Australia in March. They'll be performing live at Sound System in Sunbury on Friday March 3rd with supports to be announced soon. Pre-sale information can be found at the link above and we invite you for one night only, to turn The Barwon Club into Coolabahs Country!
